Shireen Ievers, Preschool Teacher (Grade 0000 to Grade 00). Shireen holds a National Diploma in Early Childhood Development and is Montessori trained, with more than a decade of experience guiding young children. Her approach is deeply nurturing and child-centred. She describes teaching as her lifelong passion, and finds joy in each "aha!" moment as children discover and grow. As Claudia Pienaar, now Executive Head of Skye College, a ThriveEd school, puts it: "She's mature, down-to-earth, and one of the best I've worked with. Barefoot on the floor with the kids, and born to teach."
Nosi Krwaxa, Preschool Assistant. Nosi joins us from Broadacres Academy, another ThriveEd school, where she worked in aftercare. She is known for her warmth, patience and positivity, and her former manager describes her as "always positive", "lovely with children", "great at encouraging them to do difficult things" and "fun". Nosi's loving discipline and joyful energy make her a natural with children. She builds strong relationships, communicates openly with parents and helps children grow in confidence through kindness, laughter and care.
Michaela Gonçalves, Grade 0 Teacher. Michaela holds a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching and brings six years of experience teaching preschool and Grade 0. Her former principal described her beautifully: "In my opinion, you will not find a better teacher than Michaela. All the students in her class absolutely adore her, and she relates very well with all of them." Michaela is known for her professionalism, warmth and deep commitment to each child's growth, creating classrooms that are joyful, structured and filled with care.
